At the Pottery & Sculpture Club of PebbleCreek, we foster an inclusive, transparent, and friendly environment where creativity thrives and members of all skill levels can confidently explore and develop their pottery and sculpture skills.

As members, we are committed to keeping our pottery studio clean, welcoming, and well organized. The Board supports our creative community by ensuring the studio is stocked with the supplies needed to bring projects to life.

We offer beginner pottery classes several times each year. These courses typically run for 4–5 days, with 4-hour sessions each day. Students learn fundamental hand-building techniques, including creating pinch pots, spheres, boxes, and cylinders. A basic glazing class is also offered to help participants complete and finish their pieces.
Upon successful completion of the beginner course, participants are eligible to become studio members and use the club's facilities. Individuals who have previously completed a beginner pottery course or have equivalent pottery experience may be assessed and approved for membership through our vetting process.

Our Kiln Committee is responsible for firing all member pieces, from greenware through to the final firing. Committee members take great pride in carefully loading and unloading each kiln to ensure every piece receives the attention it deserves.
The committee works diligently to maintain an efficient firing schedule, allowing members to continue creating and exploring new projects. Their dedication helps ensure that finished pieces are returned promptly while maintaining the highest standards of care and craftsmanship.

Our Funday Sunday Committee coordinates fun, creative, and educational opportunities for members to practice and expand their pottery skills. When a member creates a particularly interesting or beautiful piece, we may invite them to share their techniques and lead a special workshop for fellow members.
Despite the name, Funday Sundays don't always happen on Sundays! From time to time, we host pop-up events on other days of the week. Be sure to watch for announcements and join us whenever you can—they're a great way to learn, connect, and have fun with fellow potters.

Our website relies on members sharing photos of their pottery and artwork so that we can keep our gallery fresh, inspiring, and up to date. Showcasing the creativity of our members helps inspire others and gives prospective members a glimpse into the vibrant community and talent within our club.
We encourage all members to photograph their finished pieces and submit them for inclusion on the website. Photos can be emailed to juliejdesimone@gmail.com.
We also use GroupSpot, an excellent communication platform that keeps members informed about club activities, workshops, events, and important announcements. Once you become a member, be sure to sign up for GroupSpot so you can stay connected and engaged with our pottery community.

We are so fortunate to have beautiful display windows to highlight peoples work. Setting up these windows is an arduous task and is therefore shared amongst the members. The board will assign members to change the windows every two months. The windows are used to highlight potters talents and sometimes allows our members to sell their works of art.
Maintaining our window displays to best showcase the fabulous artwork that can be created in our pottery studio.

We are fortunate to have a wide variety of supplies and resources available to support our members' creative projects. Our storage room provides ample space for clay storage, as well as a collection of forms, molds, and other tools that members can use to enhance their work.
To ensure these shared resources remain accessible and enjoyable for everyone, all members are expected to help keep the storage areas clean, organized, and tidy. By working together, we create a welcoming and efficient studio environment for all.

Our Board works hard to ensure that members have the supplies, resources, and facilities they need to create in a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment. If you are unable to find something, simply ask. A fellow member or Board member will be happy to let you know whether it is available in the studio. If it is a regularly supplied item that is out of stock, every effort will be made to replenish it in a timely manner.
We are committed to maintaining an efficient, supportive, and fun-loving club where creativity can flourish and members can enjoy their pottery experience to the fullest.
